After many weeks of lockdown, we’re delighted to announce that Tor View Shepherds Huts has now a outlined reopening date.
Planned re opening 04 07 2020, Len and Ted are now welcoming back clients old and new.
To ensure the well-being of our guests we have responded to the official Government guidelines in providing safe, self-isolated rural accommodation here onsite. We have re-set our robust self-access processes for guests’ arrivals and departures, and will be providing 100% self-check-in and check-outs for the foreseeable future. Whilst you are on-site with us you will not be sharing any communal areas or facilities with other guests or with the proprietors, and we have upgraded our cleaning processes. We have also increased the amount of anti-bacterial washing and cleaning products available for guests to use in all of our accommodation.
As we all recover from the events of the past few months we may need to make further adjustments to our operations and processes, to address currently-unknown operational issues. We kindly ask you to assist us, so that we can achieve responsible safe self-isolated accommodation for all our guests. You can do this by being fully prepared for your stay and bringing all provisions with you, so that you do not have to rely on frequent food shopping. We would also suggest that you check for updated information with the local attractions, restaurants and pubs that you may plan to visit during your stay with us, alternatively you can just stay and relax in your hut during your stay.
If you have any pre-arrival questions please contact us directly so that we can answer them, as we take the first steps in our return to a more normal life as quickly as possible!
We all know that this is an unsettling time, whether you’ve already booked a stay with us, or are considering one. This is a developing situation, and we are committed to following all Government advice.
We thoroughly clean our huts between guests staying with us, but even so we have increased what we do to ensure – as far as we can – your hut will be sparkling clean on arrival.
We have also increased the amount of sanitising equipment in both huts for guest use, and urge our guests to follow the advice by Public Health England (PHE):
- Wash your hands with soap and hot water often – use hand sanitiser gel if soap and water are not available. Hand washing is key to preventing spread of the virus.
- Try to avoid close contact with people who are unwell.
- Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces.
- Do not touch your eyes, nose or mouth if your hands are not clean.
Our huts are 150 metres apart, and we have a non-contact arrival procedure. So you will be able to gain access to your hut and have total seclusion and privacy once you are in your hut.
